Belong is a seasonal "Introduction to Hopewell Church" class designed to help you understand our story, what’s most important to us, our vision for the future, and how you fit into that mission. Knowing where we’ve been and where we’re heading will help you connect to our community life here.

Through the Hopewell community you’ll find relationships, encounter genuine care, experience authentic growth, and discover tangible ways to bless others. Community is the glue that holds us together. Whether you are new to Hopewell or are interested in becoming a member, we encourage you to open your heart to receive, be challenged, and be changed. This is your church. You belong!

Belong classes are offered seasonally on Thursdays throughout the year. Childcare is provided.

Relationships are important to God, which is why He established the church through Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important in life than your relationships. The health of your relationships can dramatically affect your sense of fulfillment, quality of life and success in life. We desire that you progress from attending church services to belonging to healthy, Biblically based, and purposeful relationships.

Everything God creates is intended to grow. Whether a tree, flower, physical body or a soul; everything should progress toward a mature state. Spiritual growth starts with your decision to be fully devoted to Jesus. That devotion changes your passions, decision-making, the way you think, and the way you relate to others. Hopewell's desire is that you are constantly aiming to live like Jesus and sharing His love.

Jesus is the true model of a servant. He made Himself nothing to communicate how we, too, should treat others better than ourselves (Phil. 2:3-8). He chose to give His time, wisdom, energy and ultimately His life so that others could become part of God's family and live fulfilling lives. Hopewell's desire is that you will be released in your gifts and calling, and that you can help the church become all it is called to be.

God's family functions much like a natural family does. Every member has roles and responsibilities, takes ownership, protects, and always loves & supports each member. The same is true in God's family. Hopewell's desire is that you find a place within God's family to belong and that you choose to commit to partnership with this community of believers.
