We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in our 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend. It was a truly special time, filled with moments of reflection, joy, and anticipation for the future.

A special thank you goes out to all the incredible volunteers who served so faithfully in various areas—whether you were setting up, preparing meals, welcoming guests, assisting with activities, or helping behind the scenes, your contributions made the weekend a success. Your servant hearts helped create an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.

Together, we honored the faithful members who laid the foundation of Hopewell Church and remembered the countless ways God has blessed our community over the past 50 years. It was a joy to reunite with long-time friends and celebrate the bond we share as a church family. The weekend was not just about looking back, but also about celebrating the great work God is continuing to do and will do in the future.

We are excited to see what God has in store for the next 50 years and are grateful to each of you for being part of this journey. May we continue to trust in His faithfulness and look ahead with hope and joy!

Hopewell Is Celebrating 50 years of Ministry!

In 2024, Hopewell will be recognizing God's faithfulness through 50 years of life and ministry.

As we gather to celebrate Hopewell Church's 50th Anniversary, we are reminded of the profound words from Isaiah 46:8-9: "Remember this, and be assured; Recall it to mind, you transgressors. Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me." This jubilee is not only a time of celebration but also a sacred moment of remembrance.

We reflect on God's unwavering faithfulness throughout the years, acknowledging His steadfast presence and guidance that have brought us to this milestone. This celebration honors the labor and dedication of those who came before us—faithful men and women who laid the foundation upon which our church stands today. Their sacrifices and commitment to God's work have been instrumental in building the vibrant community we are now privileged to be a part of.

As we look back with gratitude, we also look forward with hope, trusting that the same God who has been faithful in the past will continue to lead us into the future. This 50th Anniversary is a testament to His enduring grace and a joyous occasion to celebrate the legacy of faith that binds us together. Let us come together in unity, celebrating this jubilee with hearts full of thankfulness and anticipation for what God has in store for the years to come.

VHS & Cassette Archives

One of our highest priorities in preparation for the 50th Anniversary is archiving our VHS and cassette tapes from the early years before digital streaming.

We have over 100 tapes we've converted to digital! Sunday morning services, drama presentations, and ministry classes spanning from 1985 to the early 2000's. You can enjoy a 7 part series of the Hopewell School of Ministry from 1986 right now!

If you are interested in seeing the archives, contact Mike Rapak at miker@hopewellchurch.org.

Live Worship Album

As we are celebrating 50 years of life and ministry, we are also celebrating 50 years of worship! Worship and song has been a part of Hopewell's core for years. It has always been integral to Hopewell's congregation to connect more intimately with God.

Thank you to everyone who came out to lend your voices in praise to God in response to His faithfulness at Hopewell. It was a terrific Night of Worship. Our team is working on mixing the audio to turn it into a live album.

If you would like to listen back to the songs that were considered for the 50th Night of Worship setlist, you can use this link to be taken to a YouTube playlist that features the songs.

We have made the live stream of the Night of Worship available to listen back to. The finished album is now mixed and mastered and available for purchase in the lobby.

You are to consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim freedom in the land for all its inhabitants. It will be your Jubilee...
