In 2024, Hopewell will be recognizing God's faithfulness through 50 years of life and ministry.

It is a time to recognize God as our liberator and how He brings us freedom and leads us to rest.

Our planning committee is hard at work brainstorming, preparing and coordinating behind the scenes to make this celebration happen. As we are in the middle of the planning stages, there are a lot of moving parts. So be sure to visit this page for more information as we get closer and make announce updates.

We will be holding a special banquet where we will take time to honor some select people from Hopewell's history and highlight the impact they have had on the church over dinner.

This is a limited seating event. As we get closer, a RSVP will be sent out. Childcare will not be provided.

After the banquet, we will have an open invite worship and celebration service where anyone can attend to hear more of Hopewell's history.

Our celebration weekend will conclude with a Sunday morning service. Join us for a time of refreshing worship, an encouraging message and fellowship with the body of Christ.

The message will focus on what Jubilee meant in the Scriptures and how it applies to us today.

One of our highest priorities in preparation for the 50th Anniversary is archiving our VHS and cassette tapes from the early years before digital streaming.

We have over 100 tapes we've converted to digital! Sunday morning services, drama presentations, and ministry classes spanning from 1985 to the early 2000's. You can enjoy a 7 part series of the Hopewell School of Ministry from 1986 right now!

We are in need of help in reviewing the archives. We are looking for those interested in listening to sermons for segments that could be cut out and featured in the future. They would need to be catalogued in detail with the source material that segment is used in and the time stamps of the segment.

As we are celebrating 50 years of life and ministry, we are also celebrating 50 years of worship!

Thank you to everyone who came out to lend your voices in praise to God in response to His faithfulness at Hopewell. It was a terrific Night of Worship. Our team is working on mixing the audio to turn it into a live album.
